Botoșani County

Botosani [ botoʃan ʲ ] is a Romanian county ( Judet ) in the region of Moldova to the county town of Botosani. Its common abbreviation and the license plate number is BT.

The county Botosani bordered to the north and to the east by Moldova, on the south by the county of Iaşi, in the southwest and the west by the Suceava County and to the northwest and also in the north to Ukraine.

Geography

The county has a total area of 4,986 km ²; so he takes a roughly 2.1 % of the country.
