Boxborough (also: Boxboro ) is a small town ( Town) in Middlesex County in the east of the state of Massachusetts.

The site is adjacent to Littleton to the north, Acton to the east, Stow and Harvard in the south to the west.

The attraction of the city their annual Fifer 's Day in June in memory of Luther Blanchard, a flute player who has been injured in the battle of Concord on April 19, 1775, the first day of the Revolutionary War.
