Brada-Rybníček

Brada - Rybníček is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers north of Jičín and belongs to Okres Jičín.

Geography

Brada - Rybníček is located on the southeastern edge of the Bohemian Paradise. To the west, the Přivýšina collected ( 463 m), is located behind the rocky area Prachovské rocks. On the eastern outskirts of the village, the European Route 442 / State Road 35 runs between Jičín and Turnov.

Neighboring towns are times Jinolice and Jinolice in the north, Podůlší in the northeast, and Dílce Kbelnice in the east, Jicin Holínské Předměstí to the southeast, and Hurychovna Holín in the south, Horni Lochov and Prachov in the west and Pařezská Lhota and Brezka in the northwest.

History

The oldest tradition of the castle Brada date from 1241 to 1263. The village docked at the foot of the castle of the same name can be traced back in 1258.

After the abolition of patrimonial created in 1850 the municipality Brada and the district Rybníček. On June 29, 1866, the village was on the western edge of the battle of Battle at Gitschin. From the ruins of shelled Austrian artillery, the Prussians, who were at Kbelnice. 1891 was Erwin Graf silt in Brada a stone cross set up in memory of the battle.

In 1961 the community was incorporated into Brada Podůlší. Since 24 November 1990, it is under the new name Brada - Rybníček again.
