Brennabor type C ( 1931)

The Brennabor 1 liter of Type C is a small car that brought out the Brennabor -Werke in 1931.

The vehicle had built a four-cylinder SV engine with 1 liter displacement front. He developed 20 hp at 2800 rpm. Through a single-plate and a three -speed transmission with shift lever in the center of the car he drove to the rear wheels. The car with a U-shaped pressed steel frame had rigid axles with semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs in the back and pushed the tiller axis with transverse leaf springs in front and were as a two-door sedan, two-door convertible or two-door roadster, each with two or 2 2 seating, available. The mechanical foot brake acted on all four wheels, the hand brake on the rear wheels. From the vehicle, only about 1,000 copies were sold in two years.

Therefore, we revised the concept and introduced in 1933 Brennabor 1 liter type D before. The car was slightly larger and had to 2 hp more power. Also, this model was not a success. In the single year of production also arose only about 1000 pieces.
