Brenton Rickard

Brenton Rickard (* October 19, 1983 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian swimmer.

At the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne Rickard won a complete set of medals. With the Australian 4 × 100 -meter medley relay, he won the gold medal over 200m breaststroke silver and over 100m breaststroke bronze medal. He also took over 50 m the same discipline on the seventh rank.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing Rickard won in 02:08,88 min silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke. About 100 m breaststroke, he finished fifth. Successful was he at the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi where he won the 4x100 -meter medley relay and 200m breaststroke; were added a silver medal in the 50m breaststroke and a bronze in the 100m breaststroke.
