Brian Noble (bishop)

Brian Michael Noble ( born April 11, 1936 in Lancaster, Lancashire ) is an English clergyman of the Roman Catholic Church and Bishop Emeritus of Shrewsbury.

Life

Brian Michael Noble received on 11 June 1960, and was ordained priest incardinated in the Clergy of the Diocese of Lancaster. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 23 June 1995 to the Bishop of Shrewsbury.

The Archbishop of Birmingham, Maurice Couve de Murville, donated to him on August 30th of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Patrick Altham Kelly were co-consecrators, Bishop of Salford, and John Brewer, Bishop of Lancaster.

On 1 October 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. its age-related resignation.
