British Independent Film Awards 2002

The fifth annual British Independent Film Awards ( BIFA ) was held on 30 October 2002 at the nightclub Pacha in London (Victoria) instead. This year was donated as an actor in remembrance of the deceased shortly before namesake for the first time the Richard Harris Award for outstanding performance.

The price for lifetime achievement went to George Harrison for his, the jury's opinion, seriously underestimated influence on the British film industry.
