Brza Palanka (Serbian Cyrillic - Брза Паланка ), often referred to simply Brza, is a village in the Opština Kladovo and in Okrug boron, and thus in eastern Serbia. It is located on the right bank of the Danube. At the time of the Romans was located at the site of the present village of the Roman city Aegeta.

Opština Brza Palanka

By 1965, the village was the seat of Opština Brza Palanka. This community consisted of the villages: Brza Palanka, Grabovica Kupuzište, Ljubičevac, Reka, Velesnica and Velika Kamenica, these villages are located today in the field of Opština Kladovo and the villages of Mala Kamenica, Mihajlovac and Slatina, they are nowadays in the Opština negotin.

With resolution of the community, is the area of the former municipality Brza Palanka, has become a part of the communities Kladovo and Negotin.

Population

The 2002 census (self- nomination) revealed that 1,076 people live in the village. Most of them were Serbian Orthodox. The majority of the population are the Serbs also live in the village but also members of the following ethnic groups: Vlachs, Romanians, Croats, Montenegrins, Bulgarians, Czechs, Roma, Slavic Macedonians, Albanians and Yugoslavs ..
