Buff Bagwell

Alexander Marcus "Buff " Bagwell ( born January 10, 1970 in Marietta, Georgia, United States), better known by his ring name Buff Bagwell, is an American professional wrestler. He was known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling between 1991 and 2001, where he was tag team champion five times, the WCW World.

Career

Bagwell was born in Marietta and made his first steps as a sporting baseball and American football player in high school. He worked in the family business, a lumber company, but which went bankrupt. From 1990, he opted for a wrestling training under Steve Lawler and finally debuted as Faboulus Fabian in Georgia. In 1991 he moved as Handsome Stranger in the Global Wrestling Federation.

WCW / WWE

Later in 1991, Bagwell was hired by World Championship Wrestling. Here he came often in teams, among others, Tom Zenk, 2 Cold Scorpio, The Patriot, and Scotty Riggs. During this time he was already four times win the WCW World Tag Team title. In November 1996, Bagwell of the New World Order ( nWo ) joined. According storyline he started a feud with Lex Luger, which ended in a match at Starrcade 1997, could win the Bagwell.

April 22, 1998 Bagwell suffered by an unsuccessful action by Rick Steiner a severe back injury that forced him to a multi- month hiatus. After his return in July they let him feud loudly storyline against Steiner, to take part in this revenge.

In June 1999, Bagwell was in a feud with Ric Flair and Roddy Piper. Against the latter graduated Bagwell at Bash at the Beach a boxing match over 3 rounds, which he was allowed to win. After that you wrote it in feud with Berlyn programs and Diamond Dallas Page. Bagwell was one of the first to Eric Bischoff's " New Blood " Group joined. Here he was, along with Shane Douglas to win the WCW Tag Team Championship.

2000 there was a feud between Bagwell and Lex Luger, this ended in defeat for Bagwell at Slamboree 2000. Later Bagwell joined with Douglas again to the tag team titles to but not more they received. Thus, the team was disbanded and both fehdeten against each other. In August 2000, he had a feud with David Flair, and then you put Bagwell in a team with Lex Luger and let them against Bill Goldberg feud.

In early 2001 joined Bagwell Ric Flair 's "Magnificent Seven" -Stable. In March 2001, WCW was acquired by the WWE and then Bagwell was henceforth employed there. Here Bagwell was allowed to compete for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Booker T, but ended the match without result, after Steve Austin and Kurt Angle interfered. On July 9, he was released from WWE.

From this point, Bagwell was initially active for the X Wrestling Federation and later World Wrestling All-Stars. Also Bagwell had several appearances with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2002 and 2003. 2006, he was watching regularly in TNA.

He is currently in the promotion Ultimate NWA, a subsidiary organization of the National Wrestling Alliance, under contract.

Private life

Bagwell has a son and is married to his third wife, Judy, since 2001.

On April 23, 2012 accident Bagwell due to an epileptic seizure while driving and pulled himself doing heavy injuries.
