Building and Development Party

The Construction and Development Party (Arabic حزب البناء والتنمية, DMG Hizb al - Bina ʾ wa -t - tanmiya ) is an Islamist political party in Egypt. She was of the considered widely as a terrorist organization al - Jama ʿ a al - Islamiyya ( "Islamic Association") founded and is regarded as the political wing of the movement.

The Construction and Development Party was officially recognized by the Supreme Administrative Court on June 20, 2011, based upon the upheavals of 2011 and on 10 October 2011. She joined the parliamentary elections in Egypt 2011/2012 as part of the Alliance for Egypt ( known as the " Islamic Block" ) to which is led by the Salafist party of light. They received 13 seats in parliament and became the sixth- strongest force in the People's Assembly.

According to its political manifesto the construction and Development Party only represents a representative democracy when its institutions are guided by the principles of Sharia, while it rejects the conventional form of theocracy like in Iran. Furthermore, the party supports a free market economy and highlights the role of the public sector in question.

The party is led by Abdel Salam Nasr. Among the ranks of the Construction and Development Party Abbud al - Zumar is, who was involved in the assassination of Egyptian president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Anwar Sadat and therefore sat for almost 20 years in prison.

The member Adel al - Chajat was appointed in 2013 to the Governor of the province of Luxor.
