Bušince

Busince (Hungarian Bussa ) is a municipality in the south of Slovakia with 1470 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It belongs to Okres Veľký Krtíš kraj a circle of Banskobystrický.

Geography

The municipality is located in the valley Ipeľská kotlina, a subunit of Juhoslovenská kotlina on the right bank of the Ipeľ while at the Hungarian border. The eastern part of the township is located on the terrace of the hall Ipeľ, the western part is hilly, however; in totality it is covered by Auböden and brown earth. The center is located at an altitude of 162 m nm and is 14 kilometers away from Szécsény (H ) and 15 kilometers away from Velky Krtíš.

Neighboring municipalities are Mula and Nógrádszakál (H ) in the Northeast, Ludányhalászi (H ) in the southeast, CELARE in the south, Malé Zlievce in the west and Veľké Zlievce in the northwest.

History

Busince was first mentioned in 1248 as Busa writing and belonged to the 17th century the manor of Castle Divín, after which it was divided between the castle Blaustein in today Modrý Kameň and castle Divín. In the Middle Ages, the economy was based on agriculture and viticulture.

During the wars against the Turks fell the village and was the Hungarian defenders, despite the tough opposition in 1552 to the Turkish sanjak Szécsény (up to 1593). Nevertheless, it was to 1683 more or less on the front line between the Ottomans and Habsburg Hungary and was thus deserted. 1720 lived here 20 subjects households, significant owners were Balassa, Koháry and Zichy. 1828 were counted 86 houses and 836 inhabitants, who were employed in agriculture.

Until 1918, belonged to the lying in the county Neograd place the Kingdom of Hungary and came after Czechoslovakia or Slovakia today. On the basis of the First Vienna Award, he was 1938-1944 again in Hungary.

According to the 2011 census lived in Busince 1,451 inhabitants, of whom 813 Slovaks, 429 Hungarians, 112 Roma, eight Czechs and a German; four residents were of other ethnicity. 84 inhabitants did not know. 1,219 residents pleaded with the Roman Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church 40 inhabitants A. B, three residents to the Baptists and the Orthodox Church, two residents of the Reformed Church and a resident of the Mormons, to the apostolic Church and the United Methodist Church. 60 residents were non-denominational and 115 inhabitants, the denomination has not been determined.
