Bütow

Buetow is a municipality in the southwest of the district Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Robel -Müritz based in the city Robel / Müritz.

Geography

The community Buetow is the Mecklenburg Lake District, east of Eldequelle in a hilly area, the maximum of 101 m above sea level. NN achieved. History

The territory has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, it generates a passage grave near the village of Erlenkamp. From the Slavic settlement phase, a motte at Karchow is obtained.
