Calañas

Calañas is a municipality in the province of Huelva, Andalusia (Spain). It counts 4165 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) and has a municipal area of 283 km ². It is located on 291 m above sea level, about 64 kilometers north of the provincial capital, Huelva. Over the railway line to Zafra is connected to Huelva and Extremadura.
