Calenzano
Calenzano is an Italian municipality in the Province of Florence in the Tuscany region. It has 16,918 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) on an area of 76.87 km ².
Geography
The municipality covers 77 km ². It is located about 20 km northeast of Florence and 10 km from Prato.
The districts include Baron coli, Carraia, Collina, Croci di Calenzano, Il Cornocchio, La Cassiana, La Chiusa, La Fogliaia, LECCIO, Legri, Nome di Gesù, Ponte alla Marina, Ponte Nuovo, Pratignone, Querciola, San Bartolo, San Donato, San Pietro in Casaglia Secciano, Settimello, Sommaia, Spazzavento, and Travalle.
The neighboring municipalities are Barberino di Mugello, Campi Bisenzio, Scarperia e San Piero, Sesto Fiorentino and Vaglia in the Province of Florence and Prato and Vaiano in the province of Prato.
