Callbach
Call Bach is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Meis home.
Geography
The street village located in the North Palatine Uplands on Eschelbachtal, a tributary of the Glan. To the west is Meis home, in the east and south is Unkenbach Schmittweiler.
To Callbach includes the living space Lindenhof.
History
After the Congress of Vienna Callbach belonged to the Rhine district in Bavaria, where it remained until the end of World War II. In the Rhineland-Palatinate administrative reform in 1969 it was reclassified by the county Rockhausen in the district of Bad Kreuznach. In ecclesiastical terms Callbach still belongs to the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate and the Bishopric of Speyer.

The local council in Callbach consists of eight council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
