Winterbach, Bad Kreuznach
Paderno is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Rüdesheim. Paderno is a nationally recognized resort.
Geography
Winter creek located in the southern Hunsrück, on the edge of the Soon forest on the 657 meter high Ellerspring. 77.1 percent of the district area is forested. The Ellerbach flows through the town.
For Paderno includes the residential places Forestry House Paderno, Kreershäuschen and Kuhpferch.
History
The place was first mentioned on June 8, 1295.
Winter creek belonged to Rear County of Sponheim and was assigned to the division of Sponheim possessions in 1776 the Margraviate of Baden. After taking the left bank of the Rhine by French revolutionary troops (1794 ) the place from 1798 to 1814 belonged to the canton Sobernheim in the Rhine- Moselle department. Based on the decisions taken at the Congress of Vienna agreements, the region and thus Paderno came in 1815 with the Kingdom of Prussia in 1816 to the pie Kreuznach in the Region of Koblenz, which was part of 1822 on the Rhine Province.
