Calvin Jong-a-Pin

Calvin Jong -a- Pin ( born July 18, 1986 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player. The defender is at Shimizu S-Pulse in the J. League Division 1 under contract.

Career

Association

Jong -a- pin career started with FC Volendam, where he was part of the senior squad from the season 2005/ 06. In the Eerste Divisie, the second highest Dutch league, he came to his pro debut. After just one year he decided a change in the Eredivisie. In summer 2006, Jong -a- Pin moved to SC Heerenveen. After the Blue -Whites he had only nine appearances in his first year, they increased in the following season, so that he came to a regular match practice. With Heerenveen he also won the 2009 Dutch Cup. The following season he was loaned to Arnhem. After his return, the left-back was promoted in the 2010/11 season to key players in the team of sc Heerenveen.

In August 2011 he moved to Shimizu S-Pulse in the J. League Division 1

National

For U -21 Football Championship 2007, he was the coach of the U -21, Foppe de Haan, nominated. He came here to three inserts. In the group match against Portugal he was in the starting line-up. The team pushed on to the finals. He was not loaded until just before the end. For the 2008 Summer Olympics he was appointed to the Executive of the Netherlands, where he came in every game for use.
