Cameron Highlands

The Cameron Highlands (CH ) are in the Malaysian Sultanate of Pahang, east of the city of Ipoh and constitute a separate administrative district with the capital Tanah Rata. Were named the area after William Cameron, a surveyor of the British colonial government, who discovered it at a Kartografierungsexpedition 1885.

Geography

The Cameron Highlands are part of the mountain range that runs through the Malaysian peninsula in north-south direction.
