Canton of Auxi-le-Château

The Canton Auxi -le- Château is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Arras, in the Pas -de- Calais and in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; its chief town is Auxi -le- Château. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2008 Henri Dejonghe.

The Canton Auxi -le- Château is 20 636 hectares ( 206.36 km ²) in size and has (1999) 11,596 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 56 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 86 meters above sea level, between 17 meters and 156 meters in Tollent in Canteleux.
