Canton of Céret
The Canton Ceret is a French administrative unit in Ceret Arrondissement in the department of Pyrénées -Orientales and the Languedoc -Roussillon region. Its main town is Ceret. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2001, most recently re-elected in 2008, Robert Garrabe.
The canton is 237.31 km ² and has 21 997 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ), which corresponds to a population density of 92 inhabitants per km ².
