Canton of Tonnay-Boutonne

The Canton Tonnay -Boutonne is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Saint -Jean- d'Angély, in the Charente -Maritime in the Poitou -Charentes; its chief town is Tonnay -Boutonne.

Geography

The Canton Tonnay -Boutonne is 12,169 acres ( 121.69 km ²) in size and has 3,013 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of 25 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 22 meters above sea level, between 1 meter in Puy -du -Lac and 66 meters in Nachamps.
