Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 12
Cape Canaveral AFS Launch Complex 12 (LC- 12) is a disused start ramp of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Merritt Iceland, Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA. It was used from the late 1950s to the late 1960s, mainly to start for testing and development flights of the Atlas ICBM.
Also by NASA launched from LC -12 variety of payloads. Thus, two of the early Pioneer lunar probes and all Ranger lunar probes were launched from here. Also four Mariner probes launched by LC-10.
LC -12 in 1967 was officially shut down together with the siblings launch pads LC -11 and LC -14.
