Carlette Guidry-White

Carlette Guidry (also: Guidry -White, born September 4, 1968 in Houston ) is a former American sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, she won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. Together with Evelyn Ashford, Esther Jones and Gwen Torrence, she referred in 42.11 s, the relay races of the United team and Nigeria to the places. In the 200 -meter run Guidry was fifth in 22.30 s.

In 1995 she took at the World Indoor Championships in Barcelona the bronze medal in the 60 -meter run and won at the World Championships in Gothenburg in the 4 x 100 -meter relay gold medal. In 42.12 s to put the U.S. quartet consisting of Celena Mondie - Milner, Guidry, Chryste Gaines and Torrence against teams from Jamaica and Germany. In the 100 -meter run Guidry missed a medal in fourth scarce.

In the 1996 Olympics she was again a member of the U.S. 4 x 100 -meter relay. However, it was this time used only in the qualifying round. In the final, Gaines, Devers, Inger Miller and Gwen Torrence picked up the gold medal for the United States. In the 200 -meter run Guidry finished in eighth place Atlanta.
