Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, usually referred to simply as Céspedes, is a municipality in the province of Camagüey. It is named after Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, who is considered one of the fathers of the Cuban nation. Administrative center is the city.

Céspedes is located about 50 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Camagüey. It has an area of 653 km ² and has 24,488 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of approximately 36.9 inhabitants per square kilometer ( Census 2012).

The main industry is agriculture of the municipios. It produces food and vegetables and operated livestock.
