Carlos Riolfo

Carlos Riolfo Secco ( born November 5, 1905 in Montevideo, † December 5, 1978 ) was a Uruguayan football player.

Club career

He played in his home country at least from 1926 to 1931 for Peñarol. There he was in 1928 and 1929 respectively share in the profits of the Uruguayan championship. 1927 Peñarol was also runner-up. Later he moved to Argentina, where he was active for Estudiantes de La Plata in 1933.

National

The midfielder was a member of the Uruguayan national football team. For this, he completed at least two matches in 1928, when it was used in the Copa Newton and in the Copa Lipton. He also was a member of the Uruguayan squad that has secured the world title for the first time hosting this event at the World Cup 1930. However, in the course of the tournament, he completed a game.
