Carolin Schäfer

Carolin Schäfer (born 5 December 1991 in Bad Wildungen ) is a German heptathlete. They will start for the LG Eintracht Frankfurt and is coached by Jürgen Sammert. At a size of 1.78 m, the student has a competition weight of 64 kg.

Career

2007 Shepherd excited for the first time international attention when she became Vice World Champion in the U18 World Championships.

2008 Shepherd was German B- Junior Champion in both the heptathlon and pentathlon in the hall. In the same year she won her first international title at the U20 World Championships and was U20 world champion.

2009 confirmed the growing top athlete and their shape was also German A- Junior Champion in the indoor pentathlon.

On July 17, 2011, she finished second in Ostrava with 5,941 points 5th place in the U23 European Championship.

Carolin Schaefer reached the all-around Meeting 2012 in Ulm with 6,072 points, a personal best. You only just missed the Olympic standard ( 6.150 ), but had surpassed the benchmark EM ( 5960 ) and was nominated for this contest. The European Athletics Championships 2012 in Helsinki she won with 6003 points, the 11th Place and established itself with this good placement on the international stage of adults.
