Casper Jørgensen

Casper Jørgensen (born 20 August 1985) is a Danish cyclist.

Life

Casper Jørgensen was with the Danish railway quad runner up in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing with a new national record time of 3:56,802. In March 2008, he was vice-champion in the train - Cycling World Championships in Manchester. At the World Cup in March 2007, he finished already surprising 3rd place with the Danish train of four under the guidance of German coach Heiko Salzwedel. After the bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics and in the 1993 World Cup, a Danish team again won medals at the World Championships in this supreme discipline of cycling.

For the first time in the World Cup 2006 in Sydney Jørgensen was successful with the Danish national team in the Team Pursuit. At the Track Cycling World Cup 2006/2007 Jørgensen were each second in the team pursuit in Sydney and Los Angeles, and at the Track Cycling World Cup 2007/2008 second in the four-man team in Los Angeles and Copenhagen.

Casper Jørgensen was from 2003-2007 with the team Odense energy 5x Danish Champion in the Team Pursuit. In addition, he has twice been national champion in scratch.
