Castelões de Cepeda is a comune ( Freguesia ) at the Portuguese circuit Paredes. 8746 inhabitants live in it (as at 30 June 2011). It represents the local community of the city Paredes

Among the most important monuments of the community include a number of buildings dating from the 16th century, when the administration of the former district Aguiar de Sousa was moved here in part. In addition to public buildings and religious buildings including the whipping post ( Pelourinho ) from the 18th century, manor houses, a medieval bridge and the railway station of 1875. The historic center as a whole is also a listed building.
