Cathedral of Mren

The Cathedral of mren (Armenian Մրենի տաճար, Russian Мренский собор ) is a city built in the 7th century Armenian church in the district of Kars Digor region in Turkey. It was looted and destroyed during the Turkish - Armenian War 1920.

The mren Cathedral is located on the border with Armenia, about 1.5 kilometers west of the river Achurjan ( APARCAY ). She is a three-aisled basilica with a dome. The basis of the Armenian Apostolic Church Cathedral was built in the year 631, 639 Cathedral mren was completed.
