Cave Carson

Cave Carson is the title of a series of adventure comics that the U.S. publisher DC Comics published as a feature in the context of different series since 1960.

Publication

The first " Cave Carson " story ( Cave Carson Inside Earth ) was released in August 1960 in the issue # 31 of the series The Brave and the Bold. This story was written by the author France Herron and designed by the artist Bruno Premiani visually, was the prelude to a season of Cave Carson stories that appeared within the next 20 months as a recurring feature in The Brave and the Bold ( in the issues # 31-33, 40 and 41). Later Cave Carson joined the series Showcase. There, three further adventures of the series were told in issues # 48, 49 and 52.

Among the later artists of the series belonged to the author Bob Haney, as well as the artist Mort Meskin ( TBatB # 41), Bernard Baily, Joe Kubert ( TbatB # 40) and Lee Elias.

The series is about the adventures of the geology professor and inventor Calvin "Cave" Carson, who together with a group of failed "colleagues" in a self-built vehicle called "The Mighty Mole" ( " The Mighty Mole" ) - a mixture of drill and armored with the help of the team can penetrate deep into the earth's crust - travel regularly undertakes the interior of the earth.
