ÄŒebovce
Čebovce (Hungarian CSAB ) is a municipality in Okres Veľký Krtíš on the edge of Krupinská Planina (literally " Karpfener plateau " ) in the south of Slovakia.
The population consists mainly of Hungary and living from agriculture and viticulture.
The place was in 1272 as Posessio Chab first documented, the most famous son of the town is the Hungarian writer Fabian János Szeder, who was born here in 1784.
Until 1918 the village belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to the newly formed Czechoslovakia. By the First Vienna Award they came from 1938 to 1945 for a short time again to Hungary.
Regular event
Every year on a Sunday in June, the Falunap ( Village Day ) takes place, a festival with entertainment, occur on the Slovak and Hungarian folk groups.
