CEC European Managers

The CEC - European Managers ( Confédération Européenne des Cadres ) represents Europe 1.5 million executives who belong to each national umbrella organizations and professional associations. Since the late eighties, the CEC contributes with its seat in Brussels and as a social partner significantly to the process of European integration.

The CEC - European Managers is one of the six cross-industry European social partners. These are the employees' side ETUC, EUROCADRES, CEC and by employers BUSINESS, CEEP and UEAPME.

History

The leadership organizations from Italy, Germany and France founded in 1951 CIC ( Confédération Internationale des Cadres ). 1989 saw the establishment of the European umbrella organization CEC ( Confédération Européenne des Cadres ). Ten years later, the CEC belonged to the workers' delegation during the negotiation to social protocol.

The Italian Luigi Caprioglio is the general secretary, the German Ludger ram Deputy Secretary-General and the Spaniard Juan Zuriarrain treasurer.

Objectives

The aim of the CEC European Managers is to represent the interests of executives within the European institutions and promote. The CEC is an independent European social partners in the European social dialogue.
