Cécile de France

Cécile de France [ Sesil dəfrɑ ː s] ( born July 17, 1975 in Namur) is a Belgian actress.

Biography

Cécile de France grew up in Andenne, very close to their birthplace Namur. As a child she began her theater play, from 1990, she took lessons with this Jean -Michel Frère. At the age of 17 she went to Paris, where she worked as an au pair and took acting classes with Jean Paul Denizon and Peter Brook. Between 1995 and 1998 she studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre, thereafter she obtained her diploma in Lyon, where she was taken by the acting agency under contract which are already among other things, Isabelle Adjani, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Sophie Marceau or Béatrice Dalle represented.

In July 2007, she had a son.

Career

From 1998, she became known quickly to a wide audience in the theater, cinema and TV. In 2002, she eventually became known internationally with the hit comedy L' auberge espagnole by Cédric Klapisch (including with Romain Duris and Audrey Tautou ). Two years later, a trip to Hollywood, where she in 80 days around the world on the side of Jackie Chan starred in a Walt Disney film adaptation of the Jules Verne novel, the female lead.

In 2005, she moderated in place of Monica Bellucci the Festival de Cannes.
