Prix Romy Schneider

The Romy Schneider Prize ( Prix Romy Schneider) is the most prestigious award for young actresses in the French film industry. Initiator were the journalists Marlène and Eugène Moineau. The prize is awarded annually in Paris, together with the Patrick - Dewaere Prize ( 1981 to 2006 known as Jean- Gabin Prize ), awarded to a promising young female actress. The award is named after the actress Romy Schneider (1938-1982) and was first awarded in 1984. The winner is determined by a panel of male film and theater journalists.

The final ceremony took place in the Paris Hotel Park Hyatt Vendôme on 11 March 2013. Excellent Frenchwoman Celine Sallette, who had been nominated last year for the price was. They won against the other nominated IZIA Higelin and SoKo.
