Cédric Van der Elst

Cédric Van der Elst ( born June 19, 1980 in Genk) is a Belgian football player, and currently stands at Eendracht Termien in the Belgian 1st Provinciale Limburg under contract.

Career

Van der Elst began his career with FC Winterslag and joined in 1988 the successor club KRC Genk, where he was appointed to the 1999/2000 season in the Eerste - class squad. After it but not really to the train arrived in Genk, he moved to the 2001/2002 season in the Netherlands to MVV Maastricht. However, in Maastricht, he remained only a year and returned in June 2002 back to Belgium. So he signed a contract with KVV Heusden -Zolder in Tweeden class and rose in 2003 with the club in the Eerste Klasse on. After he came to just four appearances in the highest Belgian League for Heusden -Zolder, he moved to KSK Tongeren. In his three years at Tongeren he came up with 95 matches and scored ten goals. In summer 2008, he moved to Eendracht Termien, where he with his former club Racing Genk plays comrades Stefan Teelen since 2010.
