Playing career

Association

Pamiroğlu came in 1957 in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul to the world and began playing football in the youth of Fenerbahce. Here he was appointed in 1975 to the Turkish U-18 national team and then played regularly for the Turkish youth national team. For the 1976/77 season, he was accepted by the then head coach Ilie Datcu in the first team and played his first game during the TSYD Cup encounter against Adanaspor. By winning this pre-season tournament he could with his club also recorded his first title victory. While he regularly came into use in the cup competitions, he was hardly considered in the league of Datcu. Only with the departure Datcus and the setting of new coach Tomislav Kaloperović to Pamiroğlu conquered a regular place and kept this, except injury-related failures, up to end of his career. His first championship he celebrated in his second season in the 1977 / 78th

The following year Pamiroğlu could with his club not prevail in the battle for supremacy in Turkish football. In the four years between 1978 to 1982 you could only win once the Turkish Football Cup and at the end of the season 1980/81 the Prime Minister Cup in the summer of 1979. While you were at this time three times TSYD Cup winners, but this trophy was awarded no great prestige.

It was only back in the season 1982/83 to Fenerbahçe won against the other competitors and could reach the double in Turkish football with the victory of the Turkish Championship and the Turkish Football Cup. In addition, we still won the discharged before the season TSYD tournament. After these successes, the longtime captain Alpaslan Eratlı declared end of the season, the end of his active career as a player and handed Pamiroğlu the captain's armband. In his first season as captain Pamiroğlu lost his team the championship race at the then major rivals Trabzonspor. In the Turkish Supercup encounter the same season you could prevail with a 1-0 win over Trabzonspor. In the season 1984/85 Pamiroğlu could get the third time in his career and the first time as team captain the Turkish league and on top of that to defend the Turkish Super Cup title with a game against arch-rivals Galatasaray. The following season reached Fenerbahce far behind only a fifth place and finished the season title lot.

The 1986/87 season started disappointingly for both Pamiroğlu as well as his club. First Pamiroğlu lost his captaincy to Müjdat Yetkiner, then started Fenerbahçe not do well in the league. At the start of the season left the club performers such as Erdoğan Arıca, Yaşar Duran, Ilyas Tüfekçi, Selçuk Yula, Engin Verel and Ilyas Tüfekçi go. Although several new players were brought in, but they showed not the expected performance. As a coach you hired the gelt as strictly ducks Branko Stanković. This fell out immediately with the players, in which he expected them to explicitly change their diet according to his ideas. He expected them to eat raw meat. In the team there was a discord which culminated with a fight between the captain Müjdat Yetkiner and Abdülkerim Durmaz eg. On top of that the coach Branko Stanković during each encounter of the fans was asked to resign. Stanković got from the club's full backing. So Stanković told the two players Abdülkerim Durmaz and Cem Pamiroğlu as troublemakers and saboteurs his leadership style and suspended both. While Durmaz was reconciled with Stanković, was a reconciliation with Pamiroğlu. Pamiroğlu was already negotiating with several clubs in the Süper Lig

End of November 1986 Pamiroğlu left after ten years of service and joined Fenerbahçe in the league to Sariyer SK. Here he established himself immediately as a leading player and made with that his club after the big three Istanbul clubs Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Galatasaray 's fourth- strongest team from Istanbul was. It was almost always in the top half of the table and reached in the season 1988/89 even fourth place, repeating the best result in the club's history from the season 1985 / 86th He played until the summer of 1990 for this club and then declared the end of its active footballers career. Pamiroğlu goodbye on August 16, 1980, a farewell game in which Fenerbahce SK and Sariyer successively met by the football stage.

National

Pamiroğlu first played for the Turkish national teams for the Turkish U-18 national team on 12 February 1975 a friendship match against the Romanian U-18 national team. He made his last international match on November 14, 1984 during a World Cup 1986 qualifying match against the England team. In this game, Turkey lost its desolate power in the domestic Inonu stadium with 0:8 and thus conceded one of the worst defeats suffered by the Association 's history. Pamiroğlu was declared as one of the defense chiefs to the principal officer of defeat. Nevertheless, he was nominated for an EM -1988 qualifier against England also for the Turkish Nartionalmannschaft, but sat in this encounter on the bench.

Coaching career

Two years after the end of his active playing career, he decided on a coaching career. He worked as the first activity in the 1992-1993 season as a youth coach in the junior department of Fenerbahçe Istanbul. Subsequently, he was appointed in the summer to assistant coach and assisted in following the head coach Holger Osieck.

For Spring 1996, he became the first head coach of the second division activity Orduspor and supervised this until end of season. After he took over, together with Riza Çalımbay the head coach items in the Turkish U-21 national team and spent two years in this position.

For the summer of 1998, he coached the then second division Agrispor and a year later the second division Çaykur Rizespor. He later coached the clubs still Şekerspor and Göztepe Izmir.

In 2005 he took over the Turkish U-19 national team. With this he took part in the U-19 Football Championship in 2006 and retired here already out in the group stage. Because such highly traded players like Serdar Özkan, Arda Turan, Aydın Yılmaz and Mehmet Güven were present in the team, Pamiroğlu has been criticized due to the disappointing performance.
