Cem Yılmaz

Cem Yılmaz (born 23 April 1973 in Istanbul) in Turkey is one of the most successful comedian and a famous actor.

Life

Even as a student at the Bosphorus University, where he studied tourism, he worked part-time as a cartoonist at Leman -Verlag. In August 1995, he started there with a stand-up and changed in December for the BKM (Beşiktaş Kültür Merkezi ). Since then, he has regular performances there and is occasionally also on an international tour.

He has a brother ( Can Yılmaz ), a sister ( Özge Yılmaz ). His parents are from Sivas Gürün.

Awards

• For his participation in commercials for Panasonic phones on the radio he got the Kristal Elma.
• For his advertising for Doritos chips two times was rewarded with the Kristal Elma.

Movies

In 1998, he was with the film Hersey Guzel Çok olacak ( Everything will be very nice) for the first time on camera. It was followed by another supporting role in Vizontele. In 2005 he played in the movie G.O.R.A. the main roles and delivered at the same time the script. This movie was so far the most expensive and most successful film in Turkey and was later surpassed by Recep Ivedik. In October 2006, his film hokkabaz appeared in German cinemas, to which he wrote the script and together with Ali Taner Baltacı directed and plays the lead role. On 5 December 2008, the highly anticipated sequel to GORA AROG ran in theaters. Another film, the Western Yahşi Batı, appeared on 1 January 2010. Cem Yilmaz Here plays the Ottoman cowboy in the Wild West.
