Central banks and currencies of Africa

In addition to the central banks of the respective individual states exist in Africa two currency Communities that are associated with multinational central banks under French influence, the West African Banque Centrale des Etats de l' Afrique de l' Ouest ( BCEAO ) and the Central African Banque des Etats de l' Afrique Centrale ( BEAC ). Currency of both communities is the CFA Franc.
