Centre-du-Québec
Centre-du -Québec is an administrative region (French région administrative ) south of the Canadian province of Quebec. It is further into five regional county municipalities ( municipalites Clarisse de comté ) and 82 divided communities and reserves. Seat of administration is Drummondville.
The population is 233 509 (2011), the land area of 6920.9 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 33.7 inhabitants per km ². 99.5 % of residents speak French and 0.3 % English as the main language.
In the East, Centre-du -Québec administrative region adjacent to the Chaudière - Appalaches, Estrie in the southeast, to the south Montérégie, Lanaudière in the west, to the north by Mauricie and Capitale - Nationale.
