Ceram Prize

The Ceram Prize, donated by a Rhenish State Museum Bonn price for archaeological nonfiction. It is named after the nonfiction author CW Ceram, who with his book Gods, Graves and Scholars. Roman archeology archeology had brought home to the public. The prize is awarded in several years, irregular periods and is endowed with 5,000 euros.

This excellent book should appeal to both scientists and laymen. In the coming election archaeological nonfiction except encyclopedias, pure picture books or catalogs that have appeared in the last five years in German language for the first time (including translations) and are still available. There is no limitation of spatial or temporal nature of the subject matter of the book, only should the findings presented have been obtained primarily with archaeological methods.
