Chakib Benmoussa

Chakib Benmoussa (Arabic شكيب بنموسى, DMG Sakib Binmūsā; * 1958 in Fes, Morocco) is Morocco's Minister of the Interior.

Biography

Chakib Benmoussa has an engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique of Paris (1979) and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées of Paris (1981) and a DESS of ISCAE and a " Master of Science" at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Chakib Benmoussa is married and has two children.

Chakib Benmoussa has occupied various functions.

From 1981 to 1983 he was a research associate of the fluid dynamics laboratory ( MIT).

Chakib Benmoussa is a member of the Executive Committee of Groupe ONA since 2000. On 11 December 2002, finally, he was appointed Wali, Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior. Then he was Minister of the Interior by a government reshuffle as successor Mostapha Sahel.
