Charlie Bell (basketball)

Charlie Will Bell ( born March 12, 1979 in Flint, Michigan ) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays in Serie A at JuveCaserta Basket. The 1.91 m wide Americans playing on the position of the Shooting Guards.

Career

Charlie Bell studied at Michigan State University and played four years for the Spartans College in the NCAA. There he was awarded every year as the best defensive player of the team and made it to the prestigious team, even the basketball legend Magic Johnson was active for three times in the Final Four tournament of the NCAA.

Ungedrafted he signed on 23 July 2001 a contract with the Phoenix Suns, where he played five games. When the Phoenix Suns released him, he was just four games in the ABA actively for the Phoenix Eclipse before a 10 -day contract signed with the Dallas Mavericks. There, however, he only played in two games. Then he tried his luck in Europe in the Spanish and Italian Basketball League. In 2005, he finally came back to the NBA. He signed with the Milwaukee Bucks and managed there on 28 March 2006 his first triple-double ( 19 points, 13 assist, 10 rebounds ). On June 22, 2010 the Milwaukee Bucks traded it with Dan Gadzuric against Corey Maggette.
