Château de Conros

The Conros Castle (French Château de Conros ) is in the French community Arpajon- sur -Cère Cantal in the Auvergne region. It was classified as a monument historique on September 30, 1991, are thus listed building. The castle is privately owned and has a museum.

Description

The origins of the castle date back to the year 1230. In the basement and ground floor, some elements from the 13th century are preserved. From the 15th century remains are on the main floor. It also includes a fully painted ledge of a chimney, which dates back to the castle Branzac. The fireplace of Italian workshop was once brought by Camille Carracioli, a Neapolitan princess, wife of the Lord of Branzac ( 1570).
