Chevrolet Stylemaster Series 1500FJ Sedan ( 1948)

The Chevrolet Stylemaster Series DJ was an automobile of the upper middle class, the Chevrolet Master Deluxe was manufactured in model year 1946 as the entry-level model and successor to the pre-war model. In essence, the vehicles also corresponded technically and in their style Vorkriegspendants. 1947 was the series 1500EJ 1948 1500 FJ.

The cars were equipped with an overhead- line six- cylinder engine (66 kW) drew from 3,548 cm3 displacement, a power of 90 hp at 3,300 min -1. About a fully synchronized, three-speed manual transmission with column shift, the engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels.

1947 there was a slightly modified radiator grille. In 1948 this was changed by inserting a chromed T's again; also had the window frame made ​​of black rubber and the type designation Style Master appeared at the rear of the alligator hood on both sides.

The next year the special series 1500GJ replaced the Style Master. In three years, created 459 228 copies.
