Chiukepo Msowoya

Chiukepo Msowoya ( born September 23, 1988 in Karonga ) is a Malawian footballer.

Association

Chiukepo Msowoya began his career in the youth team of KRADD Eagles and Red Lions Zomba in Malawi. In 2007 he moved to league rivals Super ESCOM, for whose team he ran aground in the highest Malawian League, the TNM Super League. A year later, he left his homeland and moved to League Muçulmana de Maputo Mozambique. The striker played a year in the Campeonato de Futebol Mocambicano before he moved to the Rwandan club APR FC in 2009. After a season for APR FC in the Rwandan Primus National Soccer League, he moved to South Africa Orlando Pirates. He played a half years for the Pirates before they loaned him in January 2012 to the Platinum Stars. He scored in 4 games for the Platinum Stars, scoring 1 goal. In June 2012, he returned to the Orlando Pirates, which in turn broke up the current contract with him.

National

The attacker made ​​his debut in 2006 for the Malawi national football team. During qualifying for the 2010 World Cup, he completed ten games for Malawi and was able to recorded six goals. It failed with the national team in the third qualifying round against the Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Guinea. The striker has been nominated for the African Football Cup 2010 in the cadre of Malawian national team.
