Christian Benteke

Christian Benteke ( born December 3, 1990 in Kinshasa ) is a Belgian footballer. He is now the Premier League club Aston Villa under contract and is active in the Belgian national team.

Career

In the club

Benteke began at the age of six years at Jeunesse Sportive Pierreuse - which has its abode in the homonymous district of Liege - to play at club level football. After eight years, he finally went to the youth department of the neighboring first division club Standard Liege. He remained there two years and then moved to KRC Genk in which he belonged to the senior squad in his second year.
