Christian Richardt

Ernst Christian Richardt ( born May 25, 1831 in Copenhagen, † December 18, 1892 ) was a Danish author and pastor. He studied theology from 1848 to 1857. From 1866 to 1871 he was headmaster in Tune and then pastor in Store Heddinge, Ørsted and Vemmetofte.

Richardt wrote songs and poems as well as the libretto for the opera King and Marshal of Peter Heise.
