Christine Ostermayer

Christine Oster Mayer (* December 15, 1936 in Vienna) is an Austrian television and theater actress and Bavarian actress.

Life

Her first stage experience she had as a seven year old at the former children's theater by Grete Reinhart. As a 16 -year-old Christine Oster Mayer was recorded in Vienna at the renowned Max -Reinhardt-Seminar. She made her debut as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the Municipal Theater in Essen.

Then she had engagements at the Wuppertal Opera and the Munich Residenz Theater. From 1963 to 1984 she was part of the ensemble of the Bavarian State Theatre. Further stations were among other Dusseldorf and Berlin from 1988 to 1993, the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, and Zurich. Christine Mayer Oster was under Ruth Drexel since 1994 member of the ensemble at the Munich National Theatre.
