Chronos ( Greek " time ") is the title of a comic book series published, the U.S. publisher DC Comics from 1998 to 1999.

Chronos was published between March 1998 and February 1999. The series reached 11 issues plus a 1,000,000 titled special edition. Author of all the books of this series was the American John Francis Moore, while as a draftsman artists such as Paul Guinan and JH Williams III acted.

Action

Chronos tells of the adventures of a time-traveling Hallodris and petty criminal named Walker ( Tristan ) Gabriel to break through with a high-tech suit that allows him the space-time continuum, the various periods and places of the so-called DC Universe, the scene of the comic series of the DC publishing ( such as Batman and Superman ) visits: This includes both places and time which has historically actually give it as well as those in which it is only fiction.

In the course of the series Gabriel visited among others, the Florence of the Medici - time, lives the last appearance of the Beatles on the roof of a London house at, discovered the city of Chronopolis which is inhabited by the mysterious Fiorella Della Ravenna and her servant Mordecai and out of time exists, save in the Wild West period of a moving circus woman (Alexandra "Alex" Damaskinos ) life which from then accompanied him on his travels, meets other time travelers as the scientist David Clinton and the "guardian of the time stream " the so-called linear Men in the last issue series deletes Gabriel himself out of history, but there is, due to the nature of extratemporal Chronopolis further even though he was never born.
