Chrysoclista abchasica
Chrysoclista abchasica is a butterfly (moth ) from the family of the grass leaf miner ( Elachistidae ).
Features
The moths reach a wingspan of 9 mm. They differ from the very similar type Chrysoclista linne ella by the irregular dark border of the fore wings and the narrow silvery Costalstrich between the front wing base and the silvery Costalfleck.
In the males, the Gnathos - arms are short, broad and strong serrated. The Valven are dilated distally and have a rounded apex. The Anellus - lobes half as long as the Valven. They have a pointed apex and subapikale teeth. The aedeagus is strongly curved and provided with a series Cornuti. C. abchasica can be distinguished from Chrysoclista zagulajevi by the different shape of the blades and the Anellus - cloth.
The genital armature of females has not been described.
Dissemination
Chrysoclista abchasica comes in Georgia before in the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia ( Transcaucasia ).
Biology
About the biology of the species is so far not known. The holotype was caught early July.
